Letter of John Harrison, near the Market Place, Plymouth Dock to William White, Grand Secretary, Moderns' Grand Lodge informing the latter of the removal of the Lodge from Plymouth to the Peace and Fame Inn, near the Dock Gates, Plymouth Dock (Devonport). This relocation is due to local concerns that the Lodge is irregular, despite Harrison providing letters to confirm its regularity. Has sent by Brother Carrington, Boatswain [Bosun], HMS Trusty, Plymouth, one pound and fifteen shillings for the registration of new members including a dispensation fee for the removal of the Lodge. Has sent a request for a Royal Arch Chapter charter to [Thomas] Dunckerley.

Lodge of Sincerity was granted a warrant by the Moderns' Grand Lodge to meet as No. 454 on 25 November 1769 and met met at the Three Crowns, New Quay, Plymouth. In 1770 the Lodge was renumbered as No. 390. In 1773 the Lodge moved to the Mitre Inn, Woolster Street, Plymouth, in 1784 to the Rose and Crown Inn, Old Town Street, Plymouth and in 1788 the Lodge relocated to the Peace and Fame Inn, Fore Street, Plymouth Dock (now Devonport). In 1780 the Lodge ws renumbered as No. 302, as No. 303 in 1781 and as No. 254 in 1792. After the Moderns' and Antients' Grand Lodges formed a union as the United Grand Lodge fo England in 1813, the Lodge was renumbered as No. 320. The Lodge moved to several other inns and taverns in Plymouth Dock before returning to Plymouth in 1829 and met at the Mechanics' Institute, Princess Square, Plymouth. In 1832 the Lodge was renumbered as No. 224. In 1854 the Lodge moved from Plymouth to East Stonehouse, meeting at St George's Hall, Emma Place. In 1863 the Lodge was renumbered as No. 189. The lodge now meets at Mount Edgecumbe Masonic Hall, Citadel Road, Plymouth.
