Description

Quarantine against Barbados. Expresses thanks for having received the assurance that the transhipment of mails at Trinidad is only temporary and for the Secretary of State's despatch to Trinidad deprecating any unnecessary quarantine restrictions. Sends copy of the despatch received from Mr W F Sellers, Superintendent of the Royal Mail Steam Packet Company reporting the quarantine of the Royal Mail steamer Orinoco and asking that the matter be taken up by Trinidad authorities.
