'Quebec. Plan shewing the ground edged green held on lease by the Ordnance from the Ursuline Nuns until 1 st Nov r 1852'. Scale: 1 inch to 200 feet. Compass indicator. Copied from the Quebec Record Plan dated 19 February 1850 and from a plan of the Old French Works by Fitzroy Somerset, Lieutenant, Royal Engineers, dated 22 November 1850. Copied by Charles Walkem, surveyor and draughtsman, 19 April 1851. Signed by Henry Vavasour Lieutenant Colonel, Commanding Royal Engineer, Canada, to accompany his letter of 11 April 1851 to the Inspector General of Fortifications.
