'Plan B'; 'Plan of the Island of Alderney, shewing the Site of the intended Harbour at Bray Bay, and the Land purchased by the Treasury for naval purposes: the 2 Sites for Works suggested by M General Cardew in his Report, dated 22 March 1847...': showing proposed works, land reserved for government purposes and Ordnance land. Reference table. Approximate scale: 1 inch to 222 yards [1:8,000]. Compass indicator. Signed by Lieutenant Colonel W C Ward, Commanding Royal Engineer, to accompany his letter to the Inspector General of Fortifications, 2 October 1847.
