Kent: Woolwich. Two sheets of plans showing the blocked state of the sewer pipes between the dockyard and the Royal Artillery barracks. Reference table to item (22). Scale: (21) 1 inch to 6 feet [1:72]; (22) 1 inch to 880 feet [6 inches to 1 mile or 1:10,560]. Compass indicator to item (22). Copied by Nelson Walker, Royal Engineers, Department, 28 December 1855. Signed by Colonel P Cole, Commanding Royal Engineer. Originally accompanied a letter from Colonel Cole to the Inspector General of Fortifications, 27 December 1855.
