5 items (originally accompanying a report by Colonel G Mann and Colonel W Twiss, Commanding Royal Engineers, 22 April 1808) extracted from WO 55/1548/3. Essex and Suffolk. 5 maps of parts of the coast: (1) between Brightlingsea Creek and Clacton-on-Sea; (2) between Holland-on-Sea and Walton-on-the-Naze; (3) at Harwich Harbour and Felixstowe; (4) from the mouth of the River Deben to Hollesley Bay; (5) around Orford Ness and Aldeburgh. Each map shows the proposed sites of towers and fortifications. No scale shown.
