Channel Islands. Three plans showing Ordnance land in Guernsey at (153) Fort George, (154) Vale Castle and (155) Hommette. Boundaries, walls, roads, buildings and cliffs are also shown. Reference notes. Scales: (153) 1 inch to 200 feet; (154) 1 inch to 70 feet; (155) 1 inch to 66 feet. Compass indicators. Signed by Lieutenant Fairfax Charles Hassard and by Lieutenant Colonel William Cuthert Ward, Royal Engineers, 3 August 1848. Originally accompanying a return of landed property of the same date by Ward to the Inspector General of Fortifications. Sheet sizes between 28 cm x 43 cm and 47 cm x 54 cm.
