Description

Wade [to Carteret], enclosing a list of the officers attending Prince Charles of Lorraine's council of war [SP 87/14/40], a short account of what was determined. [SP 87/14/40] and the routes to the general rendezvous [SP 87/14/42]. The British forces appear weak because of the non-arrival of the drafts and recruits. The enemy are expected to number 80,000. Disposition of the Dutch and Hessians. Sir James Campbell is now willing to continue to serve with the dragoons. Dated at Brussels. f. 61
