Colonel I Durand to Holdernesse: Prince Ferdinand has sent a major to Emden to receive and conduct the [British] troops, and written to the regency there requesting them to give Colonel Brudenell their assistance. Dispositions of the allied army. Clermont has returned to Paris. It is reported that d'Estrées has been offered the command. He encloses a [French] translation of the articles of capitulation for Düsseldorf [SP 87/28/41] and the original in German [SP 87/28/42]. Dated at headquarters at Grevenbroich. ff. 99-101
