Middle East. 'Abadan': sheet 3 only of a chart, showing parts of Iraq and Persia (now Iran). Reference table to tides. Scale: 1 inch to 1000 feet. Compass roses. Surveyed by the Fort Directorate, Basra, 1924; additions and corrections to 1931. 2 insets: (a) 'Shatt Al Arab Kabda Pt to Abadan'; scale: 1 inch to 2000 feet [1:24,000]. (b) 'Index to charts of Shatt Al Arab'; scale: 1:25,000. MS additions, coloured, showing the line of the old boundary and an 'anchorage' extending 100 yards from Persian bank; pencil additions to inset (a) showing the position of Shatait Island.
