Description

1 item (originally with a print of Governor S Rowe's despatch number 53 of 29 January 1884) extracted from CO879/21/9. Gold Coast (now Ghana). Rough sketch of area southwards from Tarkwa showing roads towards Axim and Chama and proposed road between Insuasua (or Bonsah) and either Quamang or Gassaiye. Scale: 1 inch to 2 miles. Compass indicator. [By] Charles W Thompson, Assistant Inspector, Gold Coast Constabulary, 11 December 1883. Copied by George E. Ferguson, Governor's Office, 29 January 1884. Lithographed by Dangerfield, Covent Garden.
