Folio 268: Pulteney to Craggs. Royal guards have occupied the palace where the Paris Parlement meets; members ordered to go to Pontoise; historical precedents. Public revenues restored to the Compagnie; decree permitting transport of bullion into France and betweentowns; decree explaining the assets and sources of income of the Compagnie, profits from share speculation to be exempt from tax.
