Wales. Ordnance Survey six-inch County series: parts of sheets [Pembrokeshire XXXIX NE] and [Pembrokeshire XL NW] joined to from a map of Pembroke Dock and Neyland; mounted on to a much larger backing sheet. Scale: 6 inches to 1 mile. All of the marginalia (including dates) have been trimmed away; a scale bar trimmed from one of the margins is affixed below the map. Coloured MS additions show War Department lands and fortifications, including two martello towers. MS reference tables and notes on armaments, accommodation and costs. [Additions made by] Richard Wood, draughtsman, 2 August 1880; signed by Colonel Phillpotts, Commanding Royal Engineer, 3 August 1880. Additions revised by Wood, 16 April 1883; signed by Lieutenant Colonel Stoner, Commanding Royal Engineer, 17 April 1883. A note states that [?the armaments] were dismantled in August 1881.
