Yeh Ming-ch'en to Bonham. Since his return to Canton from Shao-chou, has instructed marine forces to suppress piracy. Subsequently six to seven hundred pirates have been killed or arrested. Is pleased to read that Royal Navy has also been vigorous in suppressing piracy.
