Hsü Kuang-chin to Bonham. Is delighted that Royal Navy has annihilated pirate fleet near Annam. Fishermen near Hu-men might plunder every now and then out of desperation but have not formed themselves into pirate fleet. Is only too pleased that Chinese were able to help shipwrecked British sailors near P'eng-hu.
