'An Accurate Survey and Measurement of the Island of Jersey, Surveyed by order of His Grace the Duke of Richmond. &c.; Master General of the Ordnance ...': twelve quarter sheets of the Topographic Survey of Jersey. Scale: 1 inch to 300 yards. Compass star. Surveyed by William Gardner, George Pink, Thomas Cubitt, Thomas Yeakell, Henry Lauzan and Thomas Gream [1787]; engraved by John Warner, 1795. (1)-(3) Copies of the south west quarter sheet. (4)-(6) Copies of the north west quarter sheet. (7)-(9) Copies of the north east quarter sheet. (10)-(12) Copies of the south east quarter sheet. For the initial survey MS 'foul plans' of the topographical survey see MPHH 1/21; for coloured MS fair copies see MR 1/1172; for engraved proof versions see MPH 1/344MPHH 1/254MPHH 1/235 and MPH 1/462; and for engraved proof versions with MS colouring see MPHH 1/41.
