(1) 'Gibraltar, A Plan of the New Mole and Dock Yard': showing alternative additions to the mole proposed by Commisioner Colby and by Mr Marsh; also showing buildings along the harbour wall, anchorages and rocks, and soundings. (2-3) Two copies of a plan similar to item (1), but less detailed. Reference table; notes on soundings. Scale: 1 inch to 50 feet. Compass roses. (1) Endorsed with the date 1779; (2-3) undated, but, according to the War Office map docket book (which was the original means of reference to the War Office maps), probably later than item (1). Dimensions: (1) 69 cm x 151 cm; (2) 75 cm x 157.5 cm; (3) 73 cm x 137 cm.
