Particulars: Captain Vincent.

One bundle of papers relating to the Martinique Regiment addressed to Antoine de Sartine, French Secretary of State for the Navy. The papers include: musters (officers and private soldiers) for March to July 1778; judgements against deserters from the garrisons of Martinique and St Lucia, April to July 1778; and a memorial from Lt Col Martelly of the Martinique Regiment, recommending Captain Emanuel DesVaux de la Martiniere for the Cross of St Louis, 09 July 1778.

One bundle of receipts and expenses for the Masonic Lodge of St Jean D'Ecosse, of Avignon and the Comtat Venaissin, 1784-1791 including a printed list of the Lodge's brothers and the positions they held both within the lodge and externally, dated masonic year 5789 (1789).

Remaining papers consist of personal and business correspondence to Metropolitan France from Martinique and Guadeloupe, 1778-1779, including c70 fabric samples for shirt making from a monsieur Gamot of St Pierre, Martinique, to a monsieur Dor of Metz.
