9 items extracted from FO 37/452. Belgium and Netherlands: Scheldt River. (1, 4, 6) 'Kaart van de Verbindingen tusschen de Ooster- en Wester-Schelde'; 'Carte de la Jonction de L'Escaut Oriental et de L'Escaut Occidental': 3 copies of a map showing dams, the South Beveland Canal, the new line of a canal from Hansweert to Wemeldinge, and the line of the Sloe and the Bergen-op-Zoom Canal. Reference table, in Dutch and French. Scale: 5.9 cm to 12,000 metres (1 inch to 3.24 miles) [1:200,000]. Printed by the Geographical Establishment of P van der Maelen, Brussels. (2-3, 5, 8) 'Plan of the Schelde from Flushing to Antwerp': 4 copies of a map similar to item 1, but coloured and in English. Reference table. Lithographed by Harrison & Sons; except item 8 lithographed by Simonau and Toovey. (7) 'Profil en travers de l'Escaut oriental au droit du barrage projeté': section. Horizontal scale: 1:10,000; vertical scale: 1:100. (9) 'Comparative Plans shewing the state of the Flushing [now Vlissingen] & Rammekens Roadsteads 1800-1865'. Lithographed by Simonau and Toovey. Inset: sections of the Sloe in 1800, 1818 and 1865. Dimensions: (1, 4, 6) 28 cm x 33.5 cm; (2-3, 5, 8) 27 cm x 34 cm; (7) 31.5 cm x 41.5 cm; (9) 33 cm x 20 cm.
