Description

East Africa. 'Map of coasts visited by Sir B Frere and places mentioned in his reports on the Special Mission to Zanzibar and Mascat for the Suppression of the Slave Trade'. The map shows outward route and return route from Madagascar to Bombay, and dates of stoppage. Reference table. Scale: 1 inch to about 270 miles. Harrison and Sons, lithographers. July 1873.
