(1) Henry, Earl of Northumberland, and (2) Sir Edward Seymour kt., Earl, by indenture, 8 July 24 Henry VIII, for £1,600, sold to Sir Edward, the manors of Ponynge, Perchynge, Preston Ponynge, Asshcombe, Waldren, Chyntyng and Pengdon, co. Suss., and all lands etc. belonging. Indenture of 9 July 24 Henry VIII, to be paid by Earl in the Cathedral Church of St. Pauls in London, at Michaelmas 1532. In default Sir Edward to have estate. Tag. Signature : E. Seymoure.
