Description

Appellant: Christian Gottlob August Sohst of Hamburg, 1843 - 1845, merchant, master of the barque Echo. Respondent: Regina. Subject: Illegal slave trading. Lower Court: VAC Sierra Leone.

Appellant: Rev Arthur Loftus, 1846, clerk, vicar of the United Vicarage of Fincham St Martin and rectory of Fincham St Michael and also vicar of the vicarage and parish church Holghton otherwise Holhoughton with the vicarage of Rainham St Martin, all of Norfolk. Respondent: John Kitson of Thorpe, Norfolk. Subject: Lewd and indecent conduct of Rev Arthur Loftus. Lower Court: ACC.

Appellant: Rosa Edwina Bainbridge, 1846 - 1847, widow of deceased, formerly of Bombay, now residing in Hammersmith, Middlesex.
