The Ayew case will not be raised again but other important matters remain, and as petitions will not be accepted trade will be suspended and a ship got ready to sail so that representations can be madeto the emperor at Peking. The transmission of the Committee's memorial to the emperor is requested. (Dated: 9m 28d). 1 sheet in unopened envelope.
