Folios 235-236: George Tripp, HMS Severn, Spithead. [First 4 pages of 7] Report on voyage from Halifax to England. Sailing 5 January 1795 [Mentions Rear Admiral George Murray who sailed from Halifax on the 23 December 1794 in HMS Resolution with HMS Argonaut and HMS L Oiseau. On the arrival of Brunswick, laden with Masts, we would sail for England with any other Trade. The owners of the Brunswick, Messrs Forsyth and Co, should fix the time they expected to Brunswick to arrive. We sailed on the 2 February 1795 with the Brunswick for Portsmouth, the British Queen for Hamburg, the Joseph for London & Camilla for Lisbon.

Folio 239: enclosure with folios 235-236. William Forsyth & Co, Halifax. 5 January 1795. Reporting that the Mast Ship Brunswick was loaded and ready to sail to join the convoy on the 25 December 1794 but was detained by the desertion of part of her crew.

Folio 240: enclosure with folios 235-236. Mr Milne, Master of the Mast Ship Brunswick, Halifax. 19 January 1795. Having been deserted by a considerable part of her crew, the remainder insufficient to get here, he applies for such invalids and French Prisoners of War as can be spared to assist in navigating the ship to England.

Folio 241: enclosure with folios 235-236. George Tripp, HMS Severn, Halifax. (Answer to Mr Milne's Letter of the 19 January 1795). In compliance with your request he has ordered 6 invalids to be put on board the Brunswick. As he has enclosed the letter from Mr Stephens wherein the Admiralty has given permission for 6 Boys from Horton Prison and he is informed that 7 Officers are going as Passengers to England, you have his authority to go on board the prison vessel and apply to the Commanding Officer for leave to examine the French Prisoners and select as many that are willing and able.

Covering letter for a copy of a letter sent to Brigadier General Horneck with his answer. [Mentions Troops on then island of St Domingo and the possibility of taking troops from Jamaica to Halifax and Quebec.

Folio 243: enclosure with folios 235-236. Mr Milne, Brunswick, At Sea. 13 February 1795. Reporting that the Brunswick has become very leaky that even throwing the guns overboard and every other step taken to ease the ship and all the crews work is unable to prevent the ship gaining upon both pumps. The only way of preserving the ship is to head for Antigua.

Folio 246: enclosure with folios 235-236. George Martin, HMS (La) Magicienne, Port au Prince. To Captain George Tripp. dated 26 October 1794. In answer to his letter 24 October 1795 That the small number of troops in Jamaica and that is impossible to send any to America.

Folio 247: enclosure with folios 235-236. George Tripp, HMS Severn, Port au Prince. 18 October 1794. In pursuance of the Kings Pleasure signified to the Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty by the Right Honourable Henry Dundas, one of his Majesty Principal Secretary's of State. HMS Severn is directed to St Domingo and to apply on arrival to the Commanding Officer oh HM Land Forces for such Transports to convey troops to Halifax & Quebec and as soon as the troops are embarked to sail. Request to know what Transports these are.

Covering lettre for the Order from the Admiralty dated 24 of July 1794 and copies of two letters, one to the Commanding Officer HM Land Forces St Domingo and the other to Captain George Martin of HMS Magicienne.
