Folios 236-237: Samuel Sutton, HMS Amazon off Harwich. Acknowledges the orders and instructions.
Folios 238-239: enclosure with folios 236-237. Letter dated June 1802 by the Commissioners of the Admiralty: Evan Nepean, J. Adams, J. Trowbridge and Mr. [?]Markham to Captain Samuel Sutton. He is ordered to cruise from the North Foreland to Yarmouth to prevent smuggling
Folios 240-241: enclosure with folios 236-237. A printed template of Orders completed in handwriting dated 7th June 1802. By the Commissioners of the Admiralty: Evan Nepean, J. Adams, J. Trowbridge and Mr. [?]Markham to Captain Samuel Sutton. Detailed instructions of orders to prevent smuggling, assist HM's Customs and the sending of journals and collection of dispatches from Harwich.. The ships: HMS Unicorn, Lynx, Jalouse, Snipe and Adder and their Commanders are under Captain Sutton's orders.
