Place or subject: One acre and a half of turbary lying in the marsh of Hoveton, one acre of which lies next to the turbary of the abbot of St Bennet on the east side, and the south side abuts upon the common bank and the north side abuts upon le Blakedam, and half an acre lies in le Rischefen between the turbary of Thomas Pertrich on the west side and the turbary of William Ridel the elder on the east side, and the south side abuts upon the common bank and the south side upon le Blakedam. To hold of the chief lords of the fee to John de Trunche, his heirs and assigns freely, quietly, well and in peace.
