Place or subject: Because William has granted to Edmund, son of Henry III [Edmund of Lancaster], the whole service which Ellen ought to do to William, her son, for the lands she holds of him for the term of her life, together with the same lands when they fall in, and all other things which pertain to William by reason of those lands, William commands that Ellen is attendant and answerable to Edmund as if her lord.
