Folios 190-191. Folio 190. Letter from John Robinson to Sir Stanier Porten enclosing:- Folios 191-192. An extract of a letter from Mr [Edward] Stanley to John Robinson dated at Custom House London that the 'Bygeval', Ticke Romkes master, carrying the 17 tons of copper sailed for Ostend last Monday [20 September] and may well have arrived there but nevertheless an express has been sent to the Customs officers at Gravesend to stop the ship in case she has not passed there. The Commissioners have sent an express to the Collectors and Comptrollers of Shoreham and Rye directing them to give immediate orders to all the officers stationed at or near Brighthelmstone and Winchelsea to prevent the correspondence referred to in Robinson's letter of 22 September 1779 [folio 185 above].
