Investors in People UK was formed in 1993 to provide business leadership and development for the investors in people standard, and to lead and undertake national promotion of the standard.
The snapshots in this series begin in the period before June 2007 when it was the responsibility of the Department for Education and Skills, before becoming a non-departmental public body which receives funding from the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS).
