Folios 239-240: James Keith Shepard, Gravesend. Description and information about the impressed seamen Peter Butterfield, Joseph Martines and Benjamin Storr currently on board HMS El Corso. Peter Butterfield was found on board HMS Mariner off Gravesend and impressed by Lieutenant Petley. Joseph Martines and Benjamin Storr were impressed by Lieutenants Petley and Jordan on shore at Gravesend. Mr Ditchburn is also mentioned.
Folios 241-242: Enclosure with folios 239-240: Benjamin Steward, Sunderland, 31 August 1811, to the Admiralty. Letter and attached affidavit requesting Peter Butterfield, currently on board HMS Namur at the Nore, be discharged from service following his impress. Benjamin Steward of Southwick Lodge, Durham mentioned. Affidavit of Benjamin Steward, sworn at Bishopwearmouth, Durham, 30 August 1811, witnessed by S Pemberton.
