Description

9114. List of bills drawn by Alexander Thomson on Edmund Burke, Paymaster-General of His Majesty's Forces, for the supply of the military chest at Halifax betwixt the 18 July and 6 August 1783, and from the 6 August to 12 September 1783. [Document 15 pages]. Listed under, date of the bills, number of the bills, sums, rate of exchange at which the bills are drawn, and sums which the bills produce to the military chest. Totalling £13, 470 7s 5d. Signed by Thomson, dated 7 October 1783, Halifax. Also accompanied by rates of exchange on government bills at Halifax from 4 May 1782 to 12 September 1783.
