Folios 36-38.
To: The General Board of Health.
From: Henry Austin.
Subject Matter: Report on the cost of collecting evidence about the drainage of the Thames Marshes. Austin says that to cover the whole area between Deptford, [Kent] and Sheerness on both sides of the Thames, as Culling Eardley requires, levels, sluices, tide lengths and water quantities will need to be investigated. To achieve this in ten days will cost between £400 and £600 and involve more men than just Mr Rammell.
