Captured ship: Betsey (master Eneas Skellenger).
Capture history: an American vessel (schooner), trading among the American Colonies possibly bound from Virginia, unladen; taken on 28 May 1780 in latitude 38°40'N, longitude 73°50'W by the loyalist privateer Revenge (William Thompson commanding), and brought into New York.
Intended voyage: within the United States.
