Captured ship: Ann (master John Meream).
Capture history: an American merchant ship (schooner, 30 tons, 5 men) bound from Little Duck Creek Landing, Kent County, Delaware to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, laden with Indian corn, malt, wheat, flax seed and flour; taken on 3 May 1780 at the mouth of Cohansey Creek, New Jersey by the loyalist privateer Restoration (William Milby commanding), and brought into New York.
