Folios 482-483: Francis Newcombe, HMS Wanderer, Portsmouth. States the very hard case of Mr Lenningston, previously boatswain of HMS Plantagenet, who has served for many years but is no longer fit to serve overseas. Having been put in the dockyard check he is entitled to only 1/6 per day without provisions and he has a family to support. Newcombe asks for some special consideration to be given to the man.
