Folios 428-429: Thomas Heddington, Regulating Officers, North Yarmouth. Reply to letter dated 12 June 1810 in the case of James Lankester. He was impressed about 2 June 1810. His Father states him to be an apprentice to Mr Darby Palmer of this place (but not here at present) and under eighteen years of age. He will lose no time in getting a statement from Mr Palmer which he will send on to them. He returns the letter you enclosed.
Folios 430-431: enclosure with folios 428-429. Letter dated 10 June 1810 by James Lankester, Dog and Duck Row, Great Yarmouth, to the Admiralty. Requests to be allowed to supply a substitute for his Son James Lankester who has been impressed and is now on the John & Elizabeth at this Port and carried onboard the receiving ship at the Nore.
