Folios 239-240: Manley Dixon, HMS Queen, Causand [Cawsand] Bay. Reply to letter dated 30 October 1804 directing him to state the reason for the Carpenter being absent from HMS Queen. When he was first appointed to HMS Queen he found the Carpenter superannuated since which no other Carpenter has been appointed.
