Mr Bailey rejoined the ship last night, encloses his letter. Mr Bailey's agents at Spithead have supplied the ship and the victuals are already stowed away ready for sea service. As the Purser's conduct has been good, asks the Admiralty to cancel the warrant for William Hillman to replace him.

Has learned with regret that William Hillman, former Purser of HMS Jupiter, has been appointed to replace him. Asks if he can remain in his post, his absence for a few days was so that he could complete some papers for Rear Admiral the Prince of Bouillon.
