Letter from Sir John Walsham, Assistant Poor Law Commissioner, to Mr Lefevre [John George Shaw Lefevre, Poor Law Commissioner], asking for his opinion in the matter concerning Cowpen township. He is responding to a request made by Mr Sidney, Ship Owner, acting on behalf of the ratepayers, who mistrust the actions of Mr Nelson and Mr Bourne. Paper number: 1752/B/1839. Poor Law Union Number 333. Counties: Northumberland.
