Mixed, baptisms (pp. 1-III at front) 1558-1773, marriages (pp. 115-147) 1558-1752), and burials (pp. 163-213 at front and pp. 52-66 at back) 1558-1773: [Including: notes inside the front cover of the volume of entries 'worthy of note in this book', i.e.: "'on page 63, a note to the Register of Baptisms giving an account of the fonts being destroyed with other ornaments of the church by Thomas Scoone 'an elder', and of its being re-erected by order of John Smith, Esq.; 'on page 136, a Form of attestation to John Case, vicar, being appointed Register on 3rd March 1653 - then follows a register of banns of matrimony from 19th March 1653 to 20th December 1657'"; entries include: in 1597, 'Margaret the daughter of an Irish woman called Garrett (as she said), who was delivered of her said daughter in the church porch as she journeyed for relief, was baptized on the seaventeene day of February'; in 1660, 'Mary, the daughter of John Smith and Marye his wife was baptized on the thirteenthe daye of Januarie 1660 by John Case, vicar, the first that hath beene baptized at the font since it was re-erected by the appoyntment of the said Mr. Smith being full sixteene years paste:- one Thomas Scoone an Elder having out of his blinde zeale defaced and pulled it downe with other ornament to belonging to the church'; after marriages 1657 follow banns 1653-1657; in 1595, 'on the foure and twenty day of February was buryed a manchild borne on the body of one Thomazine Darke an harlott, who was indicted before one of Her Majesty's coroners and found guilty of murdering the same child after she was delivered thereof', and 'on the fourth day of March following was buryed the said Thomazine Darke who died sodaynly as Georg Wood, then her maister, did of his creditt report'; in 1648, 'Richard, the sone of George Juxon, gent., and Sarah his wife, who was slayed at 1st June Maydestone fight, was buryed on the third daye of June', and Joseph, the son of Thomas Daye and An his wife, who was wounded at the Maydstone fight on 1st June, was buryed the eleventh daye of June'; in 1656,' George Uswell, who affirmed at his death he was about seavenscore yeares of age, was buryed on the nyne and twentieth daye of November'; in 1698, 'Thomas Blackburn, dying excommunicat, was buryed without the service of the church, January 16th, 1698-9']
