Inquisition taken at Atcham 15th October, 22 Henry VIII (1530) before Wm. Charlton, Esq., King's escheator in County of Salop and the Marches of Wales adjoining on the death of John Lingen.

Inq. Lingen 27th April, 7 Edward III (1333) and also all that hundred of Cherbury in County of Salop with all its members and appurtenances and passes in the same pattern several manors with general words.

A copy of the Jury of Cherbury Court to find the Common between Shelve and Mucklewicke.

At a great Court Leet 6th April, 1657 between Lady Herbert of the saidHundred, lordship and Manor of Cherbury and Sam More, Esq., Lord of the Manor of Shelve.

1st July, 1657, it was done by the Jury.

Tho: Crumpe deputy Steward, and Job Charlton, Esq., Steward of the hundred, lordship and manor of Cherbury.

A charter coppied out of the Black book of Caus by Richard Powell of Edenhope.

1626. In the roll of charters of 45 Henry III - grant to Thomas Corbett at his Manor of Shelve of the weekly market on Friday and the yearly fair for the day before, the day of, and the day after the Invention of the Holy Cross unless harmful to neighbouring markets and fairs.
