The Rev. Laurence Gardner of Sansaw DD to Sir Robert Chambre Hill of Prees knight C.B. and Alexander Bower of the Oakes near Manchester Esq. Draft lease of all mines, pits, and veins of lead ore and of the strata called Barites connected with such lead ore discovered under Bulthey Hill in the parish of Alberbury and under a field in which the mouth of the level now is; disputes to be settled by 2 indifferent persons chosen by the lessor or by a third person chosen by these two assessors. Term of 21 years. Rent £15 p.a. and every 8th dish of lead ore and an eighth of all barites found, to be handed over in a state ready for sale.
