Annual return stating names, ages, occupation and residence of members of Lodge of Sincerity for the period 1813 to 1817 with letter seeking advice from the Grand Lodge from John Sumner, Secretary, concerning the expulsion of James Anderson and assignment of goods worth ten Pounds to cover debts to the Lodge. With postscript note concerning the payment of registration fees for members apologising that no more is sent on account of the debts of James Anderson., signed by Robert Bolton, Worshipful Master, William Acton, Senior Warden and John Simson, Junior Warden.

Lodge of Sincerity was granted a warrant to meet as No. 492 by the Moderns' Grand Lodge on 30 November 1786 at the Buck i' th' Vine, Wallgate, Wigan, Lancashire. In 1792 the Lodge was renumbered to meet as No. 402 and after the union between the Moderns' and Antients' Grand Lodges to form the United Grand Lodge of England it was renumbered as No. 486 in 1814. By 1813 the Lodge met at the Ring of Bells, Millgate, Wigan and in 1823 the lodge met at the Royal Oak, Millgate, Wigan, where meetings remained until the lodge was erased on 5 March 1828. From 1828 the lodge continued to meet as a spurious Lodge, meeting at the King's Head, Market Place, Wigan.
