Description

Volume level fluctuations. Background hiss.

Joseph Taylor of Saxley All Saints, Lincolnshire was recorded in 1908. Luke Stanley of Barton on Humber was recorded in 1957. Eddy Hayes was from Wesselton, Co. Kerry.

Many of the songs on CDs 1 to 3 were collected in from East Anglia. Some songs are modern.

Most of the songs are incomplete. On CD 5 only snippets of songs are recorded; there are 79 tracks. They are introduced in a numbered sequence but singers are not given.
