Pumping and Canal Engines. (14 items).
Single-acting engine, with 36 inch cylinder, 7 foot stroke, parallel motion, [cast iron beam].
Reverse plan and longitudinal section of the engine and boiler houses, longitudinal section of the boiler, plan of the boiler house foundations and boiler seating, transverse sections of the engine house, plan of the covering stones and tunnel, plan of the bottom part of the well, section of the well showing pump, external elevations of the engine and boiler houses; main gudgeon and plummer blocks, entablature and spring beams, columns - partially coloured reverse drawing; pump, stand, suction pipe etc. - partially coloured original and partially coloured reverse drawings; pump rod - original and reverse drawings; working gear bracket - original and press copy; ground plan of the site showing the canal, proposed site of the engine house etc. All the drawings except the last 3 items bear letter codes.
