Mr F. L. Cassidi (d.1963) was appointed as a surgeon in 1925 and retired in 1953. He was honorary surgeon to the king in 1945.
He left temporarily to serve in World War II, during which time Mr. Beresford-Jones [see MH/T4/Kc 1] took on his workload.
