Description

To Mrs Harriet Teasdale of Iver, co. Buckingham, £500 and an annuity of £120. To James Grant of Goldington, co. Hertford, Esq., and his wife Harriet, £2,000 and £1,000 upon trust for their three children. To William Augustus Montagu, Esq., Post Captain in the Royal Navy, £1,500. To Miss Augusta Montagu, late of Iver, £1,500. To Miss Mary Upcroft of Salisbury Place, New Road, p. of St. Mary le bone, £1,500. To General Sir Alured Clarke, Knight of the Bath, and Edward Stracey the younger of Parliament Street, Westminster, Esq., £3,000 upon trust to pay the interest to M. Upcroft during her life, and after her death, upon trust for her son, John Montagu Upcroft, now aged 6, and £1,500 on trust to pay the interest, during J.M. Upcroft's minority, for his education and advancement. To his daughter, Mary, Lady Templetown, 200 guineas. To his daughter-in-law, Hon. Mrs Dorothy Charlotte Montagu, widow of his son, John George Montagu, 100 guineas. To Sir A. Clarke and Edward Stracey 200 guineas each. To Sir A. Clarke and Edward Stracey all the residue of monies to arise by the sale of his estates in Ireland, which shall remain after discharging the mortgages affecting his Hunts. estates, the £30,000 to which he is entitled under the settlement made on the marriage of his late son, John George, with his now widow, the daughter of Stephen Beckingham of Hampton Court, Esq., and all his manors, lands etc. in Eynesbury, Hartford, Raveley, Warboys, Little Stukeley, Great Stukeley, Alconbury and elsewhere in co. Huntingdon, which not comprised in the marriage settlement of July, 1804, upon trust to sell all or part of them, and to hold all this money upon trust to pay off all debts, incumbrances, legacies and the annuity of £120 and then in trust for his son, George, Viscount Hinchingbrooke. To his son, George, Viscount Hinchingbrooke all the rest of his real and personal estate.

Codicil 21st August, 1811. Further £3,000 to Sir A. Clarke and Edward Tracey (sic) upon trust for J.M. Upcroft.

Codicil 16 December, 1813. Further £600 each to Miss M. Upcroft, Capt. W.A. Montagu and Miss A. Montagu.

Codicil 1st June, 1814. To his servant, James Harper, £400. To all other his domestic servants one year's wages each.
